Muirhead’s in-house design studio consults and supports customer design teams. We study the latest colour and material trends to ensure that Muirhead’s 180 years of expertise is enriched with contemporary creativity and innovative thinking.
We can create fine Scottish leather to match any RAL colour, Pantone number, or even the colour of any object. Our embossing, debossing, perforation and digital printing capabilities provide unlimited opportunities in decoration, creativity and branding.
And it’s not just skin deep. Whatever safety or performance specification our customers need, Muirhead’s technicians can develop a bespoke leather to suit. Our on-site laboratory can test the finished leather for flame retardancy, colour fastness, soiling, rub resistance and more - and can even test laminated materials and full seat constructions.
